Mr.
Cantrell had his Yahoo 360 page with 211 ‘friends’ attached to it,
deleted by Yahoo on Monday October 22, 2007. This is the 3rd
time a page of his under the names Rob Elite Groups 1,2,3 (or
similar). It is not known if he has previously had any other pages
removed by Yahoo for inappropriate behavior and/or activity.
Mr.
Cantrell has been seen ‘up and running’ again with a new page that
is currently named “Greener Pastures.” What appears to be his first
‘blog’ posting reads as such:

PEACEFUL CLEAN NEIGHBORHOOD. NOT ALL INVITES WILL BE ACCEPTED. I
HAVE NOTICED FOR SOME TIME THERE NEEDED TO BE A MORE RESTRICTED PAGE
FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE SERIOUS MATURE ADULTS. WE WILL HAVE FUN BUT
IT WILL BE CLEAN FUN. THE NAME GREENER PASTURES WAS SELECTED BECAUSE
IT SEEMS ALL HUMANS ON EARTH ARE ALWAYS LOOKING OR DREAMING OF

Hopefully Mr. Cantrell has turned a new leaf?
Apparently he has already btwn the days of Oct 22 and Oct 26
contacted by Instant Messenger at least a couple of the women who
have repeatedly asked that he not. Some of the requests by them
have been previously shown on this site.

Robert Larry
Cantrell is one of just many individuals in the world today who spend
much of their time online in some way or another. Mr. Cantrell spends
the greater part of his 24 hour days on the online site known as Yahoo
360. It is a networking, social type of site where people can share
interests, opinions, information, and can even meet or ‘chat’ with
each other by way of instant messenger. People all over the world use
this site and many others in many different ways.
On this Yahoo 360
site Mr. Cantrell has a page which includes a profile and on this page
he invites people, to link to his page and then these people are
considered or viewed as ‘friends’ of his. The large amount of people
and the number of page visits or, ‘hits’ seem to be a very important
‘status’ symbol to Mr. Cantrell. This is something he himself
‘blasts’ out on his page for all to see.
He recently had 2 of
his Yahoo pages deleted after it was found that he was violating the
Yahoo terms of service agreement by harassing and stalking others whom
he blames for one thing or another. With the loss of these 2 pages he
also lost nearly 500 people who he refers to as his ‘followers.’
He has mentioned and
threatened publicly before, ‘class action lawsuits’ against Yahoo, for
things he finds and does not like on their site. He gives the
impression that anything not to his liking or approval is in some way
a criminal act or way of life.
Most of his
‘followers’ are likely to be totally unaware of the reference he makes
of them and/or the type of behaviors he participates in.
In his times of
loss, he appears desperate to re-generate a page as quickly as he can
and again that will and does includes a large group of people.
From this he feels
he gains some type of power and he is not modest when proclaiming that
he is some great ‘icon’ of a person within the online community. It
has been told by some that in the past he has had as many as 30 pages
at one time. On these pages he hides, and does not disclose who he
is. It is believed by some that he uses these pages to harass or to
‘spy’ on others as he weasels his way secretly onto their pages.
His profile pictures
of choice are those of attractive male actors. Most commonly used by
him are photos of Rob Lowe and George Clooney and most recently he has
added Richard Gere to his collection.
Several women have
made statements that they can hardly look at a picture or see a movie
with these actors without relating to it some horrible memory, fear,
or experience that Mr. Cantrell has bestowed upon them.
Outward appearances
show a man of Christian faith, who is family oriented in his beliefs.
On Yahoo 360 he is known as Rob which is derived from the name
Robert.
So what actions are
Mr. Cantrell found to be engaging in?
He finds women which
interest him and begins a dialogue, either by instant messenger or
mailbox messages. He starts out being polite, humorous, easy going,
and non-judgmental. He seems to have a pattern of quickly falling in
love with, and becoming obsessed by them. He can go from being a
casual friend to, “I want to marry you” type of friend within a matter
of days. Many become fearful or annoyed by his eagerness and
persistence.
Once he feels he has
been rejected by them, he quickly becomes agitated. Name calling and
the blame game usually follows. If he is on instant messenger his
typing is suddenly in all capital letters which in the world of
technology is meant to represent someone who is yelling or speaking in
a very aggressive manner.
Women will try to
distance themselves from him and even delete or remove him from their
page. What they do not realize is that this man does
not quietly go away. He will continue to harass them thru Yahoo 360
mailbox messages and instant messenger with belittling, sarcastic
remarks, comments, and threats which often contain vulgar and abusive
language.
He will attack,
threaten, and accuse other men and women of interfering in his chance
at a relationship. What he does not seem to realize is that it is his
own behavior and actions that are the reason for the friendship or
relationship failure.
He becomes very
aggressive, often staying awake and online for days at a time. He
will repeatedly attack and travel from one page to another leaving
menacing, sarcastic and even sometimes polite comments.
He emotionally and
mentally affects many with his menacing and predator type actions. He
preaches out in the name of Christianity in a very extremist sort of
way. Any views/beliefs/religions or sexual preferences other than his
own are entirely unacceptable to Mr. Cantrell and he will bash and try
to discredit those people to no end.
He is on some
self-proclaimed quest to ‘clean up’ or ‘rid’ the world of cyber from
what he describes as sinful evil people. What he doesn’t seem to
realize at times is that many of these people are nothing like he
claims they are. Some portray themselves as true to life while others
are just playing in some type of fantasy role.
He can’t accept that
people have the right to choose to behave as they wish. He brags and
boasts about his computer capabilities and of being able to easily
remove or eliminate others pages from this Yahoo Site.
He claims he at one
time had some type of employment connection with Yahoo. These claims
are unproven.
He has participated
in online ‘phishing’ scams, or hacking into pages of others. This
recently was confirmed when one of his victims was able to get
confirmation from her internet provider that Mr. Cantrell’s IP address
was indeed the one that was trying to invade her computer.
It seems Mr.
Cantrell is truly incapable of understanding or believing that his
behavior is inappropriate in any way. This inability to understand
only confirms that he is affected by some type of mental illness.
If you are
approached online by Mr. Cantrell it would be very wise to never have
any form of communication with him. You may be successful in avoiding
him if you use Yahoo’s ignore features and settings and do not ever
respond to him in any manner.
This seems to be the
best advice anyone can offer at this time. In some cases women have
actually contacted law enforcement within the town or city in which
they reside.
Mr. Cantrell is
relentless and it’s not for sure known if he is a true threat in the
real world, but he certainly has learned how to be a menace and to put
a real fear into the heads of many women.
Women have said they
fear him actually showing up at their homes, this combined with the
feelings of violation and abuse he has left them with.
